Eco Friendly Thank You Cards
By Deb Rosenberg

Eco friendly stationery products, also known as plantable stationary, are becoming increasingly popular. And my favorite product of all is an eco friendly thank you card. This is because when you send a plantable thank you to someone, whether it was the guests at your wedding, your bar or bat mitzvah, your birthday celebration or just to a friend for a niceness they did for you - you are giving back to them a gift of ready to plant, beautiful flower seeds.

And planting couldn't be easier. Either plant the card whole, or just part of it (you can also tear it into pieces) and plant it under a bit of soil. Water daily and within a couple of weeks you'll see the first seedlings begin to sprout.

Eco friendly thank you cards are made out of 100% recycled paper waste and are embedded with seeds. They often come in a variety of styles and colors. Some you purchase 'as is' (meaning that it is like picking a box of thank you cards at a store) while others let you custom create your own thank you cards.

Custom plantable thank you cards: When researching this option look for choices that allow you to provide at least one or two lines of text (examples: "Thank you from Mr. & Mrs. Timothy L. Harris", "Elizabeth and Jonathon thank you for sharing in their special day", etc.). You may even choose to include a favorite photo (a wedding picture, for example) on the front of the card. When going with a custom card make sure you receive a proof for your approval before it goes off to print.

Free Birthday Invitations

By Richard Romando

In the vast universe of the Internet, free materials abound. And if you are looking for templates for invitations, you are mostly likely to find quite a number of interesting choices. Generous hobbyists post interesting printable party invites on their sites and you can download most of them for free, while others may charge a minimum amount.

From weddings to christenings to birthday invitations, among others, tons of designs and creative layouts are there for you to download and print. What’s more, you can tweak the designs a little to suit your requirements better.

Children’s birthday party invitations are usually the most fun to look for because of the wide range of themes available from safari inspired, to adventures in the sea, to fairytale land. These fun designs with wacky layouts can get any kid excited. But free birthday invitation designs are not just for kids.

Debutantes can get inspiration and even download free birthday invitations for one of the most important birthday celebrations of their lives. They can choose from the myriad choices of romantic and poetic-inspired designs.

But before you get lost in the many sites offering you free birthday invitation cards, you must have at least an idea of what you want. This will save you time when surfing through the net. If, for example, you are planning a party with a motif, you may want to check the sites that are dedicated to that same topic or theme. Should you decide to print the invitation yourself, make sure you can manage it.

To get the best results, make sure that you use high-grade paper and your desktop publisher can print the design well, with colors registering properly. If not, you can download the design and have a professional printer do it for you. This can still save you money, as you wouldn’t have to pay for the creative concept.
